Indian entrepreneur, Ashar Baig who sets an example with his success story is a person who thinks about his customers first. Dwelling from a middle class family and seeing the hardships in first hand, he doesn’t believe in exploiting his customers. His company Techno India is a hardware selling brand that imports these parts and resells in the national market. Operating from New Delhi, today, he has more than 5,00,000 satisfied customers spread across the globe. Techno India commenced as an online business entity when Ashar passed out from his college, he single handed with a minimal investment of INR 500/- gave a birth to this business. By 2012, he has his first physical office.
Techno India’s goal is maximum customer satisfaction with products that have longer utility. He and his team strives to work harder and establish their company in the market. Ashar has done his BCOM HONS from DU and later did 2 diplomas from NIIT. He is a visionary who grasped the potential of social media at a time when it was new in the country. He took a leap of faith and stood strong. His parents were supportive but a bit sceptical too. Because something like this was not popular. They wanted him to try for government job but Ashar’s determination convinced them. It was difficult to gain client trust in the beginning so Baig used to sell at a very cheaper rate for a minimal profit margin of barely rupees 50. As the trust and goodwill started to build, Ashar took several creative decisions to transform his business.
Speaking about this company, Ashar says, “My goal was decided, all I had to do was walk ahead in this journey and achieve what I aspired to. It wasn’t a cake walk, Techno India has gone through several transformations along with me. When I look back I feel so proud that I took so many wise and bold decisions that got me where I’m today. My parents are very proud of me and that makes me satisfied. We deal in hardware parts for phones and other electronic items. It’s satisfying to satisfy so many people out there.”
Ashar is one of India’s youngest entrepreneurs and he has been honoured with 3 awards for the same in the past. He wishes to work harder to give his parents a comfortable life. Ashar is also a social media Influencer who motivates and inspires people to believe in their dreams and work towards them. He is a live example for many people who wants to strive. He is also a freelance model and as a hobby does shoots.
